iOS and Android app development for Shopify brands

We have a consumer app live on the App Store and Google Play, built against our own store, our own orders and our own customers. The same team and the same engine build yours.

What goes in the app

Everything below is already running in an app you can download today. None of it is a roadmap.

  1. Native on both platforms

Built for iOS and Android as native apps rather than a website in a shell. That is the difference between an app that feels like the phone it is running on and one that people delete in the first week.

  2. Signed-in Shopify checkout

Customers sign in, their cart follows them, and checkout opens already authenticated with their details in place. Apple Pay and Google Pay included. The order lands in Shopify like any other.

  3. Loyalty and rewards in the app

Points, rewards and redemption built into the app rather than bolted to the side of it, so the reason to open the app is the same as the reason to buy again.

  4. Push that goes somewhere

Notifications that deep-link to the exact product, order or reward they refer to. A push that dumps someone on a home screen is a push that trains them to turn notifications off.

  5. Order tracking and accounts

Where is it, what did I order last time, and what is my balance — the three questions that otherwise arrive as emails somebody has to answer.

  6. Accessible, and dark by default if they want it

VoiceOver, dynamic type and dark mode are built in, not retrofitted. It is also what stops an App Store review going sideways over something avoidable.

How it is scoped

Three ways in

Every build is quoted against what it actually needs, so there is no price list here. These are the three shapes the work usually takes — find the one that sounds like you and we will start from there.

  • A first app

    Launch

One brand, both platforms. Storefront, cart, signed-in checkout, accounts and order tracking, submitted to Apple and Google under your developer accounts.

    Price on application

  • An app that has to earn its place

    Growth

Everything in Launch, plus loyalty and rewards, deep-linked push, and the merchandising surfaces that give someone a reason to open the app when they were not already shopping.

    Price on application

  • More than one brand

    Group

Several brands from one engine, each with its own identity, store and feature set. Built this way because we needed it ourselves — a second brand is a configuration, not a second build.

Our own software

It is on the store, not in a deck

Senseless is one of our own brands. Its app went through Apple review and Google review like anyone else’s, and you can download it now and judge the work yourself — which is a more useful thing to offer than a case study we wrote about ourselves.

  • The Senseless app

Shopping, accounts, signed-in checkout and loyalty for a brand that sells on Shopify. Apple approved it in July 2026 and it is live on both the App Store and Google Play.

Live on the App Store and Google Play

  • One engine, several brands

The app is built on a shared engine with per-brand switches, so a second brand gets its own identity, store and feature set without a second build. We did that because we run more than one brand ourselves.

Tell us about your store

An app is not right for every brand, and we would rather say so early than take the work. Tell us what you sell and who buys it, and we will tell you plainly whether it is worth doing.
