Data

Ecommerce analytics and reporting dashboards

We built two of these for our own brands because nothing off the shelf answered the questions we actually had. They run every day on real orders. We will build yours the same way.

Capability

What it answers

Everything below is running in a dashboard we use ourselves, on our own trading data. None of it is a mock-up.

  1. One place instead of six tabs

Shopify, Google Ads, Search Console, Analytics and your email platform, pulled together and reconciled. Most stores have all of this already and no single view of any of it.

  2. Numbers that match Shopify

Reconciled to the penny against the Shopify API, because a dashboard nobody trusts is a dashboard nobody opens. If a figure disagrees with your admin, that is a bug and we treat it as one.

  3. What a customer is worth, and what one costs

Lifetime value against acquisition cost, by channel, with new and returning revenue split out from real order data rather than estimated from a blended average.

  4. Whether they come back

Cohort retention by month, repeat-purchase rates, time to a second order, and the segments underneath it — one-time, returning, loyal, at risk, lapsed.

  5. Technical SEO on the same evidence

Search Console, Analytics and a full site crawl run through one pipeline, so a ranking problem and a site problem are read against the same facts instead of two disagreeing tools.

  6. It tells you when it breaks

Every source is health-checked on a schedule, and a feed that stops is flagged rather than quietly reported as a bad month. That is the failure mode that costs people real decisions.

How it is scoped

Three ways in

Every build is quoted against what it actually needs, so there is no price list here. These are the three shapes the work usually takes — find the one that sounds like you and we will start from there.

  • A first honest view

    Essentials

Your store and your site analytics in one dashboard, reconciled and scheduled. Trading KPIs, trends and period comparison, on desktop and on a phone.

  • Spending money on growth

    Commercial

Everything in Essentials, plus paid search, Search Console and email, with lifetime value, acquisition cost, cohort retention and customer segments. This is the shape we run for our own brands.

    Price on application

  • Search is the channel

    Intelligence

Everything in Commercial, plus the SEO and business-intelligence pipeline — full crawls, evidence-backed findings and competitive benchmarking, traced back to the data they came from.

Our own software

Built because we needed them

Matrix Health Group owns and runs consumer brands that sell on Shopify. Both platforms below were built for those brands first, against a real catalogue and real orders, and they are still the ones we use to run them.

  • The trading dashboard

Runs Totally Numb and Gold Seal Packaging. Shopify, Google Ads, Search Console, Analytics, email and backlink data in one view, with cohort retention, lifetime value against acquisition cost, and customer segments.

  • Matrix Intelligence

The SEO and business-intelligence side. Search Console, Analytics and full site crawls run through one pipeline, so every finding can be traced back to the data underneath it rather than asserted.

Tell us what you cannot see

Most people know the question they cannot answer — which channel actually pays, whether anyone comes back, why last month looked odd. Tell us yours and we will tell you what it takes to answer it.
