What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device so it can recognise that device on a later visit — to remember preferences, keep you signed in, or record what you looked at. Related technologies, such as browser storage, do the same job by different means.
This policy covers all of them, because the answer is the same for each: this site does not use them.
What We Do Not Use
We say this plainly because an earlier version of this policy did not. It listed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking, LinkedIn Insight Tag, CRM systems and advertising audiences as things we “may” use. None of them has ever run on this website. That wording was inherited boilerplate describing a different kind of site, and it was corrected on 17 September 2026.
There are no advertising cookies, no marketing or audience-building tags, no cross-site tracking, no CRM tracking, and no profiling of visitors.
Analytics
We do measure how many people visit which pages, using Ahrefs Web Analytics. It is deliberately cookieless: it sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device or in your browser.
It does send Ahrefs a record of the visit: the address of the page you are on, the page you arrived from, your browser’s language settings, your screen size, and your IP address and browser identification, which travel with any web request. It does not send your name, your email address, or anything you have typed, and there is no identifier tying one visit to another. We see visit counts and which pages are popular, never individuals.
Three pages carry no analytics at all: the Matrix Bundles landing page, its privacy policy and its support page. They are stripped deliberately, because the app’s own privacy policy promises it. Everything else, including the apps index and the Matrix Bundles documentation, is measured like any other page.
Fonts
Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. Google Fonts places no cookies, but your browser does make a request to Google to fetch them, so Google can see your IP address.
Cookie Consent
You will not see a cookie banner here. Until 17 September 2026 this site showed one; it asked you to accept cookies the site never set, and the only cookie it created was the one recording your answer. It has been removed, and that preference cookie is no longer used. If your browser still holds one from a previous visit, it does nothing and you can delete it.
If we ever introduce anything that does store information on your device, we will ask for your consent before it loads — not afterwards, and not by treating continued browsing as agreement.
Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies, and warn you before one is stored. Nothing on this site depends on cookies, so blocking them will not break anything here.
Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the website. Material changes will be described here rather than applied quietly, and the date at the top of the page changes with them.
