Matrix Bundles and Shopify Bundles compared
Shopify has a free bundles app of its own. If you sell the same set of products every time, it may be all you need. If you want customers to choose what goes in their bundle, that is what Matrix Bundles is for.
The short answer
- Choose Shopify Bundles for a fixed set or a multipack — the same products every time, sold as one product with its own page. It is free.
- Choose Matrix Bundles when the shopper should pick the products — any three from your aftercare range, one from each of three collections — and the saving should arrive as one line in the cart without a bundle product to keep up to date.
